The Casas del Bosque estate in the Casablanca Valley produces a variety of red & white wines at differing ranges. This Private Reserve is made from the best fruit from the best parcels, in this case mostly Syrah grapes with a small amount of Pinot Noir. The best parcels are situated relatively high up close to the Mirador which is a conspicuous landmark on the estate. This wine is of the same level as the top Northern Rhone Syrahs e.g. Cote Rotie or Hermitage and will benefit from further cellaring.
