Château Prieuré La Marzelle Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2014
The nose is expressive, elegant and complex. The red and black fruits mingle with notes of truffle, leather, wood and undergrowth which form a superb bouquet. On the palate, this round wine is perfectly balanced and with its velvety and silky tannins it doesn't lack charm or length- i fact, it surprises by it's elegance and complexity. A great Bordeaux!

Château Prieuré La Marzelle, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Contrôlé, the second brand belonging to Château La Marzelle, was re-instated as of 2003. It was in that year that the Sioen family purchased four hectares of excellent terroir from its immediate neighbour.
Since 2012, these four hectares have been integrated into the Grand Cru Classé land classification, although the original brand has been retained for the second wine.
The label underwent the same changes as the La Marzelle label as of the 2011 vintage.
