The growing of grapes and making of fine wines has been a part of this well known Rheinhessen family since 1648. Today Louis Konstantin Guntrum continues to build on the achievements of the previous ten generations and is producing some of the area's finest Rieslings from the twelve or so hectares he has under vine. The Guntrum cellars lie between the villages of Nierstein and Oppenheim in one of the most stunning locations beside the great river Rhine and house some exceptionally old, carved barrels.
