Gentle pressing below 1.8 atmospheres, natural settling then a temperature controlled fermentation at 16ºC - 18ºC in stainless steel tanks. The growing of grapes and making of fine wines has been a part of this well known Rheinhessen family since 1648. The Guntrum cellars lie between the villages of Nierstein and Oppenheim in one of the most stunning locations beside the great river Rhine and house some exceptionally old, carved barrels.
