Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Deep ruby colour. In the glass the wine exudes aromas of plum, blackcurrants, blackberry, smoke and earth. Soft tannins and bright acidity add a sense of balance and substance to this full-bodied Cabernet. Concentrated flavours of juicy raspberries and black cherries dominate the entry, while refined notes of earth and pepper emerge as the wine unfolds on the palate. The wine leaves lingering hints of cherry on the long and satisfying finish. Great with pizza and pasta or with grilled red meats.

Harvested and fermented individually by vineyard lots and then barrelled into a combination of French and American oak barrels, 10% of which are new. The wine is racked twice during barrel ageing and gently filtered just prior to bottling.
HOPE FAMILY WINES
The Hope family have been farming in the Paso Robles for more than 30 years. When they arrived they planted apple orchards and grapes. Little did they know that this region would become one of the foremost viticultural regions of the Central Coast. They now have some 40ha of their own (where the Austin Hope wines are sourced) and some 450ha under long term contracts and supervised by their own viticulturists.
Austin hope, is the third generation of farmers, and the first generation of winemakers! He has a passion for Rhone varietals. The Liberty School wines offer some of the best value for money Californian wines. The grapes are sourced from over 50 growers. Treana is the flagship range and the red is a cult Californian wine - we hope that will happen in the UK!
