Liberty School Chardonnay 2014
Liberty School Chardonnay has luminous pale golden colour. It opens with aromas of green apple and lemon zest complimented by tropical notes of pineapple, coconut and mango. The wine's vivacious acidity makes an impact upon entry, while its creamy texture and rich flavours of green apple, blood orange, guava and toasted almonds fill the palate. The finish is clean and crisp.

After harvesting, fruit for the Liberty School Chardonnay is whole cluster pressed. It is barrel fermented and aged sur-lie for 6-8 months in both American and French neutral oak barrels.
The wine is stirred once a month to enhance its creamy character. Primary blending takes place after 8 months and the wine then rests in tank for three months prior to bottling.
HOPE FAMILY WINES
The Hope family have been farming in the Paso Robles for more than 30 years. When they arrived they planted apple orchards and grapes. Little did they know that this region would become one of the foremost viticultural regions of the Central Coast. They now have some 40ha of their own (where the Austin Hope wines are sourced) and some 450ha under long term contracts and supervised by their own viticulturists.
Austin hope, is the third generation of farmers, and the first generation of winemakers! He has a passion for Rhone varietals. The Liberty School wines offer some of the best value for money Californian wines. The grapes are sourced from over 50 growers. Treana is the flagship range and the red is a cult Californian wine - we hope that will happen in the UK!
