A well kept secret of a Highland malt, with bags of complexity for the price.
Our Opinion A soft and delicate Highland, this is a dram, that once tasted you'll wonder why you've not had it before. It has plenty of fruitiness and fresh vegetal aromas, but there is also enough depth present to keep you interested to the bottom of the bottle.
Tasting Notes The nose is soft, very aromatic with a hint of honey and lemon in the foreground. Sweet to start with, the palate has an appetising fruitiness and a long smooth finish.
Wine Maker
Method of Production This small distillery has one large and tall spirit still with a long worm that produces a light, floral and estery new make spirit. The spirit was then matured in a combination of ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon hogsheads for a minimum of twelve years.
