Method of Production Finest quality light white Bahaman rums are produced by fermenting and distilling molasses from sugar cane. They are then blended. Bacardi is filtered through charcoal for smoothness, then aged for a year in natural white oak, giving its unique, smooth character. The spirit is filtered again before bottling, leaving it completely pure.
