Method of Production One of only three distillery bottling plants in Scotland which means the whisky is reduced from cask strength to bottling strength with water from the same source as distillation. The whisky is always bottled unchilfiltered - all oils and fats are left in giving a fuller flavor. Always bottled at 46% or cask strength, the higher ABV is partly to do with bottling unchilfiltered but also helps give a fuller flavour.
