The Albarino grape, Spain's greatest white grape, tastes like a mix of a delicate Riesling and a fragrant Viognier.

Our Opinion Fresh, clean and fruity, Burgans Albarino is perfect choice for summer drinking.

Tasting Notes beautifully aromatic on the nose with hints of apple, apricot and peach. The wine is medium bodied with juicy fruit flavours, clean acidity and a long, mineral-dominated off-dry finish.

Method of Production The grapes were hand picked and placed in shallow boxes to avoid damaging the fruit. Fermentation followed in stainless-steel tanks with naturally occurring yeasts. 80% of the wine underwent a softening malolactic fermentation and a dash of sweet reserve wine was added to the blend before bottling.
