Our Opinion Simply delicious!
Tasting Notes Fruity aromas of apples and bananas with sherry notes on the nose, which carry through to the palate. A hint of malt, and a touch of toffee are on the palate. It has a long, lingering finish.
Wine Maker
Method of Production Bushmills uses unpeated malt in the production of this whisky. This prevents the whisky from having a smoky flavour, since it is the malting which adds smoke. The wash is triple distilled, which makes the whisky smoother and lighter than those which are double distilled. It is then aged in old Bourbon casks for a minimum of 10 years, This makes is richer and more complex. It is diluted to 40% abv before it is bottled.
