Our Opinion This new bottling of Caol Ila is lighter in style than most Islay Malts, and has a lovely smoky, floral palate. It is also used heavily in the Johnnie Walker blend.

Tasting Notes Pale in colour with peaty, floral and peppery notes and hints of citrus fruit on the palate and a smoky, warm finish.

Wine Maker

Method of Production The water for Caol Ila comes from a peaty loch near the distillery. It was distilled in a larer than average malt still and matured in the Warehouse at the distillery.
