Tasting Notes Warms and tantalises the palate with rich, fruity flavours and a lingering liquorice finish. Captain Morgan has a rich and fruity nose and palate, and a warm, lingering finish with hints of liquorice.
Wine Maker
Method of Production Captain Morgan, like other rum, is distilled from the juice which has been extracted from the sugar cane. This juice is then fermented. It is the combination of yeasts used in the process which determines the characteristic flavour of Rum. Following distillation, the rum is aged for up to 7 years in old oak casks, causing it to mellow, acquiring depth and richness of flavour in the process. Captain Morgan is a blend of rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados.
