This is an elegant wine which showcases the local terroir, with purity of fruit, low yields, selection by hand and good ageing.

Our Opinion Oscar Aragòn is a passionate winemaker. After he completed his oenology studies in Spain he toured the wine regions of the world. In his wine blog he writes: 'During my years abroad I never could forget Ribera del Duero – the region where I was born. Time came for me to move back to Ribera del Duero to look after my father's centuries-old vineyards, to work hard to set up what today is Cillar de Silos. In our family vineyard, enthusiasm and passion for the land characterise our work. I am committed to looking after our precious old vines the vines that are the very soul of our wines.'

Tasting Notes Mineral notes, raseberries and hints of white pepper flavour this elegant and medium bodied rose. It has a long and refreshing finish.

Wine Maker Cillar de Silos

Method of Production Cillar de Silos Rosado is by taking 20% from the tanks of the vinyard's best wine, Torresilo. Destemmed, and following 48 hours of maceration, 20% of the wine is put in a different tank. Here it ferments slowly at 16C for 20 days. This gives the resultant wine body, texture and an expression of both terroir and grape variety.
