Our Opinion An elegant dry white wine, with herby, crisp tones. De Grenfel is great to drink on its own or with seafood.

Tasting Notes This wine is a light green/yellow in colour with green pepper, unripe fig and granny smith apple tones on the nose. In the mouth, it is both dry and elegant, with crisp herby tones, good acidity and a long elegant finish.

Method of Production The grapes were handpicked in the early morning to ensure freshness. There followed three days of settling, racking and then selected yeast cultures were added. Fermentation took place over 22 days at ±13 'C and then the wine was left on the lees for 100 days to give a richer and palate. The resultant Sauvignon is a blend of 9 different de Grendfel vinyard lots.
