A genuine classic that never disappoints, Highland Park is a crowd-pleasing whisky of real character and class from Orkney. On the nose it has heather, honeysuckle and barley sugar, while the palate is warming and rich, with an intense, lingering finish.

Our Opinion Highland is renown the world over, and is a firm favourite with many because of its delicious sweetness, and smoky character.

Tasting Notes The Whisky is a glowing amber colour, with aromas of sweet honey, heather and smoky peat on the nose. There is a smoky sweetness on the palate and a full malt delivery. Notes of heather and smoke linger on the finish.

Method of Production The water for Highland Park comes from the Cattie Maggie's spring, and peat from the local moor is used to heat the floor maltings, producing malt with a touch of peat. This is ground and mixed with the spring water to give a wash, which is twice pot-distilled to make the spirit. This spirit is then placed into old Bourbon casks to mature, adding texture, flavour and softness to the Whisky.
