Approachable, smooth and fruity, Hine VSOP is a fine Champagne Cognac from an historic Cognac house.

Our Opinion Hine Rare is a Fine Champagne, which means that it is a blend of more than 25 Grand and Petit Champagne Cognacs. It is the most delicate of the Cognacs made by Hine.

Tasting Notes It has a fruity nose with citrus and apple aromas and a touch of spice. It is approachable and smooth with a rich mellow finish.

Wine Maker

Method of Production A good base wine was made first, after which the wine was distilled twice in copper stills. Maturation took place in new, 350 litre Limousin oak barrels for between 9 and 15 months, after which the Cognac was placed in old barrels to continue maturing.
