Superb, single-region Cognac blended from over 15 separate brandies.

Our Opinion This is a blend of more than 15 Petite Champagne cognacs, the youngest is aged 4 years; whereas the minimum ageing period for Cognac is three years. It is perhaps not surprising, then, that this Cognac has a great deal more complexity and depth of flavour than might be anticipated. It is the most floral of Hine's Cognacs.

Tasting Notes Fruity, floral notes combine with vanilla, honey, leather, tobacco and nuts on the nose. Rich, smooth, intense and complex in the mouth with a terrifically spicy vein and a coffee and cream finish.

Wine Maker

Method of Production The grapes were fermented into still base wine and kept in contact with the solids (pulp, yeast lees etc) which lend extra aromas, body and structure. After double distillation, the spirit was matured in new Limousin oak barrels for approximately one year. The Cognac was then moved into old wood for a further 5 years.
