Tasting Notes Two different types of lemon from Sicily give the vodka a lively, rich sweetness, whilst one variety from Spain gives a full, distinctive taste. Lemon from Guinea, West Africa results in an intense character, whilst two varieties of lime from the Caribbean give Ketel One Citroen vodka an incredible note of freshness.

Method of Production Ketel One has been distilling vodka for 300 years, although this lemon vodka is a recent addition. Ketel selects only the finest wheat to create an Ultra Wheat Spirit using a four column distillation process. Part of the spirit is re-distilled in small batches using ten traditional copper pot stills. The oldest of these is the original coal-fired Distilleerketel No.1, which gives Ketel One its name. The resulting pot still distillates are charcoal filtered, rested and blended into a rich and full-bodied Master Pot Still Batch. This is then married with a portion of the fresh and lively Ultra Wheat Spirit and water, to create the Vodka into which an infusion of 6 varieties of citrus fruits are used to create Ketel One Citroen.
