This is a soft and round wine with lots of red berry fruit flavour - very easy to drink.

Our Opinion A perfect everyday drinking drink, which is soft and rounded with bags of berry fruit.

Tasting Notes Moulin de Gassac is clear ruby red in colour with deep purple glints. On the nose there are aromas of fruits of the forest, blackberry, raspberry and a touch of spice which carry through to the palate. The wine is soft supple in the mouth, and is well balanced with a touch of fruit jam and pepper on the finish.

Method of Production The vineyard is situated on Jurassic limestone slopes which are arid and dry, and the grapes are grown on 25 year old vines. The harvest is mechanized, and the grapes are macerated for 6-7 days. The fermentation temperature is controlled and the wine is placed, unfiltered in stainless steel tanks for up to 6 months to mature.
