The vinyards at Mulderbosch are well known in South Africa for producing excellent wine, and this Sauvignon Blanc is no exception.

Our Opinion Mike Dobrovic, winemaker at Mulderbosch is one of the most talented winemakers in South Africa, and this Sauvignon Blanc has been called “South Africa’s most celebrated Sauvignon".

Tasting Notes Pale yellow-green colour with an intense nose of passion fruit, melon and floral overtones, underpinned with a dash of grass and nettles. The mouth-watering fruit is checked by a fresh acidity. Very moreish.

Method of Production After the grapes were picked, crushed then pressed, the must was settled for two days and racked before being infused with a selection of different yeasts. Fermentation took place between 12-16C, and extended lees contact followed. There was minimal interference in order to preserve the fruit character throughout blending and bottling. The wine has not been aged in wood.
