This has all the qualities of a good Sancerre but at less than half the price!

Our Opinion This really does offer great value. Although Petit Bourgeois is a Vin de Pays de la Jardin de la France, the vineyard lies just beyond the boundary with Sancerre.

Tasting Notes Flower and fruit aromas of elderflower and mangetout notes carry through to the palate. The fruit is crisp with a good acidity, and the wine has good weight.

Method of Production The grapes are grown on vines that are between 10 and 40 years old, and which are planted on chalky-clay soil. Once picked they are fermented in stainless steel tanks and then matured for 3 months on the fine lees before bottling.
