Traditionally made - this is a delightful Saint Aubin from Domaine Patrick Miolane.

Our Opinion We love this very traditional red Burgundy with its soft red fruit flavours and delicate and complex palate.

Tasting Notes Aromas of cherries and redcurrants fill the nose and follow through to a complex palate of red fruits. Notes of wood add a sensual depth to the wine. The finish is long with soft fruit lingering, in turn complimented by refined and soft tannins.

Wine Maker

Method of Production The grapes are grown on 35 year old vines planted on linestone-clay soils. The vineyards are worked manually and the grapes are handpicked and selected. They are then destemmed and a slow cold fermentation is carried out followed by pigeage and remontage over the 21 days that the wine is in tank. After this the wine is transferred to oak barrels and matured there for 2 years.
