Cabernet Sauvignon makes some of the best wines in the world, and is most famous as the main grape in Bordeaux. It is grown in almost every winemaking country where red grapes will ripen. Its characteristics are: blackcurrant fruit, black cherries, cedarwood, and cigarbox aromas. It is deep in colour, full bodied, rich and tannic. It ages very well, and is easy to grow and vinify.
