Prosecco Castello 4357 Fabiano NV
Fully fizzy prosecco made in a dry style by the Fabiano family. ‘Castello’ refers to a district of Venice near to St Mark’s Sq where the family had a shop a few generations back. 4357, that was the street number, long before pin numbers.......Oh, the wine, it’s not historic at all, it’s very modern, redolent of pears, apricot, nectarine, and the merest hint of sherbet. The mousse is creamy and satisfying and the whole adds up to an immensely satisfying prosecco experience..

For over 100 years the Fabiano family have been growing, producing and selling wines from the Veneto region in north east Italy. They began with a wine shop in Venice and by the late sixties were producing their own wine from an estate between Verona and Lake Garda. The winery is now run by the fourth generation, brothers Alessandro and Michele Fabiano, under the watchful eye of their father Nicola.
