The volcanic terroir shapes the character of this Soave giving it intricacy and elegance. it has a pleasant freshness and minerality (flint), with citrus and floral notes (noticeably citron, lily, apricot, elderflower) with a persistent finish.

Excellent with seafood main courses, as well as with local dishes of the Veneto region like risi e bisi (fresh peas risotto), pumpkin risotto. It combines equally well also with savoury salame's like Sopressa, and with fresh or mildly aged cheeses like Monte Veronese DOP mezzano. It may also be the right choice for not too elaborate white meat courses.
