This is the main wine of the estate and is made from carefully seleted grapes from old vines of Syrah and Grenache varieties. It is dark purple, almost black, and has a noticeable aroma of ripe red and black fruits, some herbiness and comforting oaky notes which derive from the ageing in French oak barrels. It's a wine for serious meals and wopuld benefit from decanting at least an hour before serving. Despite this recommendation, it isn't an overtly tannic wine and so can be enjoyed relatively young.
