Pale yellow in colour, this wine is still young, with aromas of ripe, green apple on the nose, with hints of citrus. There are also hints of vanillin which derive from the partial ageing in new and used oak barrels. The palate is fresh, fruity (apple and white currants) and complex with mineral overtones. There is evidence of toast deriving from the oak-ageing although the overall impression is one of youthful acidity and fruitiness. Perfect for drinking now, the wine would improve for a further 2/3years.
