Monte da Ravasqueira is a quality wine producer in the Alentejo region of SE Portugal, which is the warmest and driest area of the country. ideal for grwoing and ripening grapes the region has recently become recognised as one of Portugal's best wine regions. This white is the introductory wine to the range and is labelled Vinho Regional Alentejano (the Portuguese equivalent of Vin de Pays/Vino de la Tierra). This wine is made from a blend of Antao Vaz & Arinto, the latter one of Portugal's best white varieties and which makes the famous Bucelas.
