Lean, fruity, classy Sauvignon made on the northern side of Tasmania east of Launceston in the style of better Marlborough wines, this wine owes its name to those windy shores and its class to the Kayena Estate where it Is produced. Pale yellow in colour with green hints, the aroma is delicate (gooseberries but also some tropical fruit and citrus) while the palate is clean, refreshing and an ideal accompaniment to fish dishes & other first courses.
