A vibrant purple is first noticeable in the glass, with pale crimson on the edge. The nose is a mixture of fresh summer red fruit especially redcurrants and rasberries. There is hint of earthiness and vanillin notes from the ageing in used oak barrels. On the palate there iis a freshness and vibrancy, with the summer fruits being the most obvious flavour. The finish is harmonious with the overall impression being one of balance and complexity.
