Albury Estate wines are produced from grapes grown in the Surrey Hills wine area east of Guildford. The vines are planted on predominantly south-facing slopes on chalky soils similar to those in Champagne. The viticulture at Albury Estate is carried out on mainly organic lines and yields are kept quite low. The estate is planted with the classic trio of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunièr and Chardonnay, together with some Seyval Blanc which is particularly suited to the English climate.
