Espresso, cocoa, black cherries and mint open the wine. On the palate, the wine is round, soft, creamy and open, with sweetness to the fruit that carries from start to finish. The oak has integrated nicely into the wine. Drink from 2024-2037

    Winemaking

Grapes were hand-harvested in small crates, sorted before and after destemming, and vinified in wooden, stainless steel, and concrete tanks using gravity flow. Pre-fermentation maceration lasted 3–8 days at 8°C, followed by maceration of 26–32 days depending on the variety. Malolactic fermentation occurred in barrels (2/3 new, 1/3 second-fill) or vats, and the wine was aged for 16 months in barrels (35% new, 65% second-fill) to achieve a balanced structure
