Made from selected organically grown grapes on one of the best plots, this wine forms part of the special parcel category ‘les Parcellaires’. It is made with minimal intervention in the vineyard and in the winery, this is the Berthier bros‘ top white wine. For those devotees of Sauvignon Blanc grown in northern climes, this wine expresses the intensity of the grape variety and the mineral nature of the soil. Fermented in stainless-steel vats kept at low temperatures and bottled after ageing in large wooden vats (demi-muids) the wine is one for special occasions where a lean, racy, but rounded and complex white wine fits the bill.

Made from the successful 2020 vintage, the wine has benefitted from approximately 2 years  ageing in vat and bottle now, so that the subtle range of flavours has blended together well which makes it perfect for drinking in the summer of 2023.  The Berthier bros recognise that it’s a ‘one off’ wine in some ways which makes it perfect for savouring by itself as an aperitif or with lighter first courses and white fish dishes in general..
