Literally translated as "wines of the palace," Viña Palaciega wines are handcrafted in the traditional Rioja style.Vina Palaciega bring in grapes sourced from small vineyard sites across all three of the Rioja regions; Alta, Baja and Alavesa, choosing the best grapes from each region.

Winemaker Rodrigo Espinosa is keen to produce a clean, modern style of Rioja Blanco, where the restrained nature of the local variety Viura, also known as Macabeo, is unaffected by ageing in oak barrels. The result is a light, delicate wine which would suit aperitifs, first courses or light fish dishes.
