Albas white is made from a blend of Roussanne and Marsanne, so widespread in the Rhône Valley. It is a relatively rich wine, displaying typical flavours of ripe apple (Marsanne) and florality (Rousanne) with notes of mint and eucalyptus on the palate plus hints of vanilla, spicy mint and ripe lemon. It has a roundness on the finish with less obvious acidity than many whites.
